Opus Global Nyrt. will launch a share buyback program from June 17, according to an announcement on the Budapest Stock Exchange website.

The company emphasized that purchases on the bourse can be made at the current market price, but the highest price cannot exceed HUF 548.

This is the value of equity per share calculated based on the 2023 consolidated financial statements without taking into account its own shares. The upper limit for repurchasing shares is HUF 2 billion. Based on the authorization of the general meeting, the stock of its own shares may not exceed 20% of the share capital.

Opus Global is part of the business empire of Lőrinc Mészáros, the gas fitter-turned-billionaire investor who has made his money since Fidesz returned to power and who is a key ally of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
